I am a lifelong resident of Dutchess County. I attended school in the Wappingers School District and graduated John Jay in 1979. For a good part of my life, I worked in my family’s swimming pool business. Having the opportunity to work in a small business I feel has given me an insight into what it really takes to succeed in business as well as a vast amount of experience marketing a small business. After spending close to 30 years in the family business I started my own swimming pool repair and service business. I quickly grew that business and had a tremendous amount of success. Along the way my wife and I decided to sell our home and move to a more neighborhood setting.

Once we began our home search it became very apparent to my wife and I that this profession was truly lacking when it came to servicing their clients. My wife said, “You should think about selling Real Estate.” So, after a year or so I got my Real Estate license figuring I could still do pools and sell Real Estate, which was 2006. The following year the recession hit, my pool business vanished overnight, and I was left with a tough decision to keep focusing on a dying business or make a change. So, I decided to sell Real Estate full-time. It was tough at first no one was buying anything, but through finding a great mentor and hard work I persevered. After a couple of months things settled down and I began to get a few sales, then a few more. Here I am today a very productive agent that spends a great deal of time selling homes that others failed to sell.

I currently live in Hopewell with my wife of 29 years, our son A.J. and two Rottweilers named Maverick and Goose. I enjoy Golf, cooking, woodworking, and scuba diving.
